TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta mass rapid transit operator PT MRT Jakarta extended the operating hours from 05:00 to 23:00 Western Indonesian Time (WIB) starting Wednesday, May 18, 2022, in line with the adjustment of the COVID-19 restrictions or PPKM Level 2 in the capital. Rendi explained that the adjustment to the operation schedule was a follow-up to the Decree of the Jakarta Transportation Agency Head No. 251 of 2022.

Meanwhile on holidays or weekends, the train services are available at 06:00 until 23:00 WIB.

The headway between trains is set every five minutes on weekdays during peak hours (7:00-9:00 WIB and 17:00-19:00 WIB) and every 10 minutes outside peak hours or on weekends or holidays.

MRT Jakarta is still implementing health protocols against COVID-19, such as wearing face masks and requiring passengers to scan QR codes via the PeduliLindungi mobile application before entering the station. Passengers are also barred from having conversations during rides including by phone.
